They provide a structured framework for tasks that need to be completed. This feature enables you to streamline processes, ensure consistency, and assign tasks to specific users or groups. In this help center article, we will dive deep into understanding Protocols in Franklin, how to use them, and how to effectively manage them.

What are Franklin's protocols?

Franklin protocols are lists of tasks that need to be done in a certain analysis. You can assign a task to an individual member or a group and you can mark a certain task as completed. You can set different protocols for different types of analysis - allowing you the versatility of having different tasks in different analysis types.

Think of Protocols as digital checklists that help you organize how you do things in Franklin. Using Protocols makes it easier to track the progress of your work, manage tasks within your organization, and ensure everyone follows the same process.

Franklin Protocol is presented in the case workbench, next to the "Case Data" and you can mark a task as completed by checking the empty circle and assign to users by hovering a task and pressing on the user icon.
