How to bulk upload samples

Franklin users have the option to create a case using a FASTQ file or upload multiple samples simultaneously, rather than one at a time. This guide provides instructions on how to perform these actions.

** Note that this option is only available for Franklin Premium users.

  • Select Assets from the menu, then select Bulk Upload to upload multiple samples. Alternatively, you can select View All Samples to see your entire organization's samples and then Upload New from the left sidebar.

  • Add Sequencing Information and select Next. You can leave it empty if you don't have the information at the moment. The Enrichment Kit and Assay are required to run CNV analysis.

  • Select the data source

  • Drag and drop your files or click on Upload folders or Upload files to select the files

  • Review Selected files on the right bar and click Next to continue

  • Select how you want to create the samples:
    - Auto-suggest: Best calculated option - Genoox will decide for you
    - Single Sample: Single sample upload for each file
    - Sample per folder: will match the files uploaded according to the folders and the file type. Please note, files can be rematched.

  • You can add sample information such as gender and ethnicity per each sample

  • To just upload the sample without creating a case per each sample, uncheck the "Create Analysis per Sample" box on the bottom right

  • Click on Create Samples

You're done!

All Samples are being uploaded and annotated and will be soon.
